AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1899 NEW SERIES,
RELATING TO REZONING OF PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN
AS PARROT VILLAGE
BE ST ORDAINED BY 'ThE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that:
Section 1 Ordinance No. 1899 New Series, of the City
of Alameda, relating to the rezoning of property commonly known
as Parrot Village, is hereby fully and crniipletely repealed.
Section 2 This ordinance is hereby declared to be an
ordinance enacted in great urgency and necessity. This declara-
tion is based upon the '_act that a referendum petition has been
filed and Ordinance. NO. 1899 N.S. would be at variance with the
most recent recommendation of the City Council.
Section 3 Pursuant to Section 3 -12 of the City Charter,
this ordinance, being enacted in the event of great necessity,
is being introduced and passed at one and the same meeting and
.shall become effective immediately.

L, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was
duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of February, 1978 by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen 8eckam, Oiarent, Sherratt, and President Corica,(4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Tillman, (1).
