AMENDING THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING
ARTICLE 7 TO CHAPTER I OF TITLE III THEREOF,
PROVIDING AUTHORITY TO ADVANCE REIMBURSABLE FUNDS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that:
Section 1 Chapter 1 of Title III of the Alameda Municipal..
Code is hereby amended by adding Article 7 thereto to read:
Article 7. AUTHORITY TO ADVANCE REIMBURSABLE FUNDS
Sec. 3 -171 A.thoritv to Advance General Funds
The Auditor may issue warrants on the General Fund of the
City of Alameda for the purpose of paying debts funded by
state or federal programs prior to the time of the actual
receipt by the City of such state or federal monies,
provided that, (a) the Auditor has in his possession
sufficient entitlements to the state or federal monies
and (b) such payments will not impair his ability to pay
debts funded by the City.
section 2 This ordinance shall be in full force and
e effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from

duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 21st day of March, 1978, by the following
