AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO LEASE BETWEEN
CITY, AS LESSOR, AND ALAMEDA SWIMMING POOL
ASSOCIATION, AS LESSEE, BY EXTENDING TERMINATION
DATE THEREOF FROM MAY 31, 1986, TO MAY 31„ 1991
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that:
Section 1 . The certain lease, authorized by Ordinance No.
1819 N.S., which became effective on August 5, 1976, by and be-
tween the City of Alameda, lessor, and the Alameda Swimming Pool
Association, a non - profit corporation, lessee, of certain City -
owned properties, being portions of Franklin Park and Lincoln Park,
shall be amended by extending the termination date thereof from
May 31, 1986, to May 31, 1991.
Section 2 . The Mayor of the City of Alameda be, and he
hereby is, authorized to execute on behalf of said City an amend-
ment to said lease, in form to be approved by the City Attorney,
providing for such extension of term thereof, and the City Clerk
is hereby directed to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th of March, 1981,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman and
President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
official seal of said City this 18th day of March, 1981.
