AMENDING CITY OF ALAMEDA ORDINANCE NO. 1929 NEW
SERIES BY ADDING EXHIBIT C THERETO ESTABLISHING FEES
FOR ENFORCEMENT OF EXIT AND FIRE SAFETY PROGRAM
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that:
Section 1 . City of Alameda Ordinance No. 1929 New Series
is hereby amended by adding Exhibit C thereto to establish building
permit fees for enforcement of those provisions of the State
Housing Law which require the City to enforce regulations for fire
safety and fire safety exits in multiple -story structures for human
habitation.
Section 2 . The fees and charges set out in said Exhibit C,
attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set forth in full,
are hereby established.
Section 3 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of
its final passage.

BUILDING PERMIT FEES FOR ENFORCEMENT OF THOSE
PROVISIONS OF THE STATE HOUSING LAW WHICH
REQUIRE CITY TO ENFORCE REGULATIONS FOR FIRE
SAFETY AND FIRE SAFETY EXITS IN MULTIPLE -STORY
STRUCTURES FOR HUMAN HABITATION
(a) In lieu of Exhibit A -1, where permits are issued for the
enforcement of Sections 17920 et. seq. of the Health and
Safety Code, the following fee schedule shall apply:
1) Building Permit ............. $50.00 plus
5.00 per dwelling unit
2) Second and each subsequent
back check of plans ......... $25.00 each
(b) All other fees for enforcement of said code sections:
1) Plumbing and Mechanical - as
per Exhibit A -2 of Ordinance
No. 1929 N.S.
2) Certificate of Compliance ... $25.00 each
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in a regular adjourned meeting assembled on
December 8, 1981, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone, and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
