AMENDING THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH
FEES FOR ENCROACHMENT PERMITS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that:
Secti 1. The Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended
by adding Sections 5 -146 and 5 -1611 to Chapter 1 of Title V thereof
to read:
Sec. 5-1 46. Fees. All persons filing the notice
required by Section 5 -141, other than City Departments,
shall pay costs necessary for the inspection of the work
done by said persons as set forth herein:
(a) Basic fee: $25.00; plus
(b) Projects requiring only routine checking: $50.00;
plus
(c) All other projects: $35.00 for each hour of
inspection time.
Sec. 5 -16 11. Fees. All persons issued a permit under
this Article, other than City Departments, shall pay costs
necessary for the inspection of the work done by said per-
sons as set forth herein:
(a) Basic fee: $25.00; plus
(b) Projects requiring only routine checking: $50.00;
plus
(c) All other projects: $35.00 for each hour of
inspection time.
(d) The deposit required by Section 5 -162 shall be
applied against such fees.
Section 2. The Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended
by adding Section 5 -264.2 to Chapter 2 of Title V thereof to read:
Sec. 5- 26 4.2. Fees. All persons issued a permit
under Section 5- 264.1, other than City Departments, shall
pay costs necessary for the inspection of the work done
by said persons as set forth herein:
(a) Basic fee: $25.00; plus
(b) Projects requiring only routine checking: $50.00;
plus

the date of its final passage.
