AMENDING THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING
SECTIONS 17 -432 AND 17 -461 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR
STOP SIGNS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS ON EAGLE AVENUE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that:
Section 1 . Chapter 4 of Title XVII of the Alameda Municipal
Code is hereby amended by repealing Subsection (30) of Section
17 -461 (Yield Right -of -Way Intersections) thereof.
Section 2 . Chapter 4 of Title XVII of the Alameda Municipal
Code is hereby amended by adding Subsections (229), (230) and
(231) to Section 17 -432 (Stop Intersections) thereof to read:
(229) Eagle Avenue and St. Charles Street, signs
shall be erected on Eagle Avenue at or near the north-
easterly and southwesterly corners of its intersection
with St. Charles Street.
(230) Eagle Avenue and Chapin Street, signs shall
be erected on Eagle Avenue at or near the northeasterly
and southwesterly corners of its intersection with Chapin
Street.
(231) Eagle Avenue and Schiller Street, signs shall
be erected on Eagle Avenue at or near the northeasterly
and southwesterly corners of its intersection with Schiller
Street.

Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date
of its final passage.
