AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 14637 TO MOVE THE JUNE 5, 2012
REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING TO JUNE 6, 2012 DUE TO THE
SPECIAL ELECTION
WHEREAS, Section 3 -7 (B) of the City Charter of the City of Alameda
requires that the City Council hold regular meetings in the calendar year as
fixed by resolution;
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 14637 was adopted on December 20, 2012
e setting the regular City Council meeting dates;
WHEREAS, the City will hold a Special Election on Tuesday, June 5,
2012;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA THAT:
Section 1. The regular City Council meeting scheduled for June 5,
2012 shall be moved to Wednesday 6, 2912
Section 2. The meeting shall convene at 7:00 p.m.
Section 3. Notice of the date and time of the meeting is hereby given,
and the City Clerk is authorized, instructed and directed to give further or
additional notice of the meetings, in the time, form and manner as required by
law.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the l 5til day of May, 2012, by the following vote
to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Bonta, deHaan, Johnson, Tam and
Mayor Gilmore — 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
