APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT COMPENSATON PLAN
ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION 14699,
TO ESTABLISH SALARY AND BENEFITS FOR THE CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, the City Council previously adopted City of Alameda
Resolution 14699 approving the Executive Management Compensation Plan for
the period June 17, 2012 through December 26, 2015; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of
the Council and as such, is not a classification included in any bargaining group
or union.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Alameda that effective September 9, 2012, the Council hereby amends the
Executive and Management Compensation Plan as follows:
Section 1, to add City Clerk as a covered Miscellaneous
Classification, except that the City Clerk is appointed by and serves
at the pleasure of the City Council.
2. Section 11, to add City Clerk to the list of classifications provided
$250 per month auto allowance.
3. Exhibit A, to restate and establish the salary rate, salary step and
benefits for the classification of City Clerk, designating those as
applicable to this classification in the service of the City of
Alameda.

Resolution shall supersede any other resolution in conflict herewith.

regular meeting assembled on the 4th day of September 2012, by the following
