Mayor Gilmore convened the meeting at 6:06 p.m.

Gilmore — 5.
[Note: Councilmembers Bonta and Johnson arrived at 6:15 p.m.]
Absent: None.
The meeting was adjourned to Closed Session to consider:
(12 -529) Conference with Legal Counsel — Existing Litigation (54956.9)1 Name of Case:
David Kapler v. City of Alameda, et al.; Superior Court of California, Alameda County,
Case No. HG11570933
(12 -530) Conference with Labor Negotiators (54957.6); Agency negotiators: Human
Resources Director and Assistant City Attorney; Employee organizations: Alameda Fire
Managers Association, Alameda Police Management Association, Alameda Police
Officers Association, and International Association of Fire Fighters
Following the Closed Session, the meeting was reconvened and Mayor Gilmore
announced that regarding Existing Litigation, direction was given to staff.
Mayor Gilmore called a recess at 7:04 p.m. and reconvened the meeting at 7:51 p.m.
Following the Closed Session, the meeting was reconvened and Mayor Gilmore
announced regarding Labor, direction was given to staff.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor Gilmore adjourned the meeting at 9:20 p.m.
