Resolution 14767CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 14767
AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGE TO APPLY TO THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF BOATING AND WATERWAYS FOR A
GRANT TO RENOVATE THE ENCINAL BOAT RAMP UNDER THE
HARBOR AND WATERCRAFT REVOLVING FUND.
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda has the authority to construct, operate, and
maintain the Encinal Boat Ramp; and
WHEREAS, The City of Alameda is requesting a grant from the Department of
Boating and Waterways under the Harbor and Watercraft Revolving Fund; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Alameda that, pursuant and subject to all of the terms and provisions of the Harbor and
Watercraft Revolving Fund program, application be made to the State of California,
Department of Boating and Waterways for funding; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager of the City of Alameda is
hereby authorized and directed to cause the necessary data to be prepared and
application to be signed and filed with the State of California Department of Boating and
Waterways.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular
meeting assembled on the 5th day of February, 2013 by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Chen, Daysog, Ezzy Ashcraft, Tam and
Mayor Gilmore — 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
