Resolution 14708CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 14708 AGREEING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A RECIPROCAL TAX SHARING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AND THE FRANCHISE TAX BOARD WHEREAS, Effective January 2009, resulting from the enactment of Senate Bill 1146, the Franchise Tax Board (FTB) and participating cities began exchanging tax information data through a reciprocal agreement, State Agreement Number C1100147, to be used for tax revenue collection efforts by cities and the FTB, and; WHEREAS, In order to participate in this program, the FTB requires that a resolution be adopted by City Council authorizing the City to enter into a data exchange reciprocal agreement with the FTB. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that said Council hereby approves the establishment of a reciprocal agreement between the City and the Franchise Tax Board for the period of June 2012 to December 31, 2014. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 26th day of June, 2012, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Bonta, deHaan, Johnson, Tam and Mayor Gilmore — 5.
