Resolution 14709CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 14709 ESTABLISHING APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR FY12 -13 WHEREAS, pursuant to Article XIIIB of the Constitution of the State of California, the City Council of the City of Alameda is required to establish an "Appropriations Limit" for FY12 -13; and WHEREAS, the Appropriations Limit has been determined in accordance with uniform guidelines for Article XIIIB of the California Constitution; and WHEREAS, the voters approved Proposition 111 in June, 1990, which allows for new adjustment formulas for the appropriations limit calculation that is responsive to local growth issues. The adjustment factors used to arrive at the FY12 -13 limit are as follows: 2011 -12 County Population increase of 0.98 %; Per Capita Personal Income increase of 3.77% NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that said Council hereby establishes the Appropriations Limit in the amount of $89,894,797 for 2012 -13. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 26th day of June, 2012, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Bonta, deHaan, Johnson, Tam and Mayor Gilmore - 5.
