Resolution 13981CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 13981 APPROVING INTERIM EXPENDITURES PRIOR TO ADOPTION OF THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006 -2007 WHEREAS, State law requires that the City of Alameda adopt an annual budget representing a financial plan for conducting the affairs of the City of Alameda for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007; and WHEREAS, there will be submitted to the City Council at the meeting of July 5, 2006, the Operating Budget and Capital Improvements for fiscal year 2006 -07; and WHEREAS, the proposed Operating Budget and Capital Improvements for Fiscal Year 2006 -07 includes several expenditures prior to the adoption of the City of Alameda Operating Budget and Capital Improvements; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Alameda hereby approves interim expenditures of the City of Alameda prior to the approval of the City of Alameda Operating Budget and Capital Improvements for Fiscal Year 2006 -07 at the levels set by the City Operating and Capital Improvement Budget for 2005 -06 to allow payment of routine expenses including payroll and vendor expenses at prior year's level. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a Special Joint Meeting of the City Council, Alameda Reuse and Redevelopment Authority and the Community Improvement Commission held on the 20th day of June, 2006, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, deHaan, Gilmore, Matarrese and Mayor Johnson - 5.
