Resolution 11888CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11888 APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM HARBOR BAY ISLE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT FUND AND FROM MEASURE "B" FUNDS TO PROVIDE MATCHING LOCAL SHARE FOR THE DOOLITTLE DRIVE WIDENING PROJECT WHEREAS, on October 3, 1989, the Council of the City of Alameda received a report recommending approval of the Federal Aid Urban (FAU) project for the improvement of Doolittle Drive from Island Drive to Harbor Bay Parkway; and WHEREAS, said project is listed as Item 1 and 2 of the Traffic Improvement Projects as described in the Harbor Bay Isle settlement agreement; and WHEREAS, ACTAC requirements state that in order to receive approved FAU funds, matching funds need to be appropriated by the City; and WHEREAS, the amount of FAU funds approved by the County is $1,444,419, leaving a balance of $571,049 to be covered by local share; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the Harbor Bay Isle settlement agreement, the local share for funding for said project will be 50% (or $285,525) from the Harbor Bay Isle Transportation Improvement Fund and 50% (or $285,524) from other City sources (Measure "B" funds); and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that said Council hereby appropriates $285,525 from the Harbor Bay Isle Transportation Fund and $285,524 from Measure "B" funds to provide matching local share for said Doolittle Widening project. pproved as to Form rk _ I.
