AMENDING GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF ALAMEDA FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1989-90 AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is a participant in the
Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) authorized under
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda has entered into a Grant
Agreement with the Economic Development Corporation of Alameda
(EDCA) regarding the use of CDBG and Commercial Revitalization
funds during FY 1989-90; and
WHEREAS, the City and the EDCA do mutually desire to
amend said Agreement to reallocate funds to the City to finance the
position of Economic Development Manager;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Alameda that the EDCA FY 1989-90 Grant Agreement is hereby
amended (Exhibit A) in accordance with the Budget (Exhibit B)
attached hereto; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and
hereby is authorized to execute and the City Clerk to attest on
St said Amendment.

MODIFICATION OF GRANT AGREEMENT
WITH THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF ALAMEDA
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989 -90
This Modification of the Grant Agreement with the Economic Development
Corporation of Alameda, entered into this day of
19, by and between the CITY OF ALAMEDA, a municipal corporation
(hereinafter "City ") and the ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF ALAMEDA
(hereinafter "Subgrantee "), is made with reference to the following:
RECITALS:
A. On July 5, 1989, a Grant Agreement authorized by Resolution No.
11757 was entered into by and between City and Subgrantee (hereinafter
"Agreement ").
B. City and Subgrantee desire to modify the Agreement on the terms
and conditions set forth herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed by and between the
undersigned parties as follows:
1. Attachment A (Budget) to the Agreement is modified as shown on
Budget Modification No. 1, attached hereto. Said Budget Modification
reduces the allocation of Grant Funds to the EDCA by $30,000.
2. Except as expressly modified herein, all other terms and
covenants set forth in the Agreement shall remain the same and shall be
in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this
modification of Agreement to be executed on the day and year first above
written.
