Resolution 11935CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11935 APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO EXTEND THE MARINA VILLAGE "LUCKY" SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM MARCH 31 TO JULY 1, 1990 WHEREAS, in January, 1988, the City of Alameda negotiated a contract with Marina Village, Lucky Stores, and Long's Drugs to provide a shuttle service for elderly and transit dependents who were inconvenienced by the closure of the old Lucky Store on Webster Street at Central Avenue; and WHEREAS, the City has received notification from Lucky Stores and Marina Village that they wish to terminate this service as of March 31, 1990; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Alameda appropriates monies from the general fund in the amount of $1,920 to provide the aforementioned shuttle service for the period March 1, 1990 through June 30, 1990 to the extent.i . not otherwise paid by the above referenced entities, I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of February , 1990, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Thomas, Withrow and President Corica - 5.
