Resolution 11989CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11989 AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN RIGHT -OF- WAY CERTIFICATIONS IN CONNECTION WITH STATE AND FEDERALLY FUNDED ROAD PROJECTS WHEREAS, in order to obtain Federal and State assistance in connection with State and Federally funded road projects, and for the State Department of Transportation to approve the projects for advertising, it is necessary that the City of Alameda certify to the State Department of Transportation that the right -of -way necessary for the proper execution of the project will be or have been acquired; and WHEREAS, The State of California Department of Transportation, as provided in the Local Program Manual Volume I, will now accept right -of -way certifications signed by the Public Works Director if the Council of the City has by resolution authorized him to sign said certifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the Public Works Director is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City of Alameda, all Right -Of -Way Certifications required for State and Federally funded projects and directs him to forward a copy of this resolution to the appropriate office of the State of California Department of Transportation. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th day of July , 1990, by the following vote to wit: AYES: NOES: CouncilMenlbers Arnexich/ honlas, Withrow and President Corica T 5, None. Diane `i{elsch, City Clerk City of Alameda CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11990 AUTHORIZING COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AND STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR DOOLITTLE DRIVE WIDENING PROJECT WHEREAS, on September 19, 1989, the Alameda County Transportation Advisory Committee approved the Federal Aid Urban (FAU) program listing the City of Alameda's project, "Doolittle Drive, State Route 61, Widening from Island Drive to Harbor Bay Parkway," as Number 1 for funding for the 1990 -91 fiscal year; and WHEREAS, on October 3, 1989, the City Council accepted the report recommending approval of the FAU project and directed staff to proceed, through a consultant, for the preparation of plans and specifications for this project; and WHEREAS, on November 21, 1989, the City Council, per Resolution No. 11888, approved appropriating funds from Harbor Bay Isle Transportation Improvement Fund and from Measure "B" funds to provide matching local share for the Doolittle Widening Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code Section 130, it does hereby authorize a cooperative agreement between the City of Alameda and California Department of Transportation for the widening of Doolittle Drive.
