LIBRARY DIRECTOR
PUBLICATIONS AND
NO. 12033
TO DISCARD OBSOLETE OR
OTHER SURPLUS LENDING
WHEREAS, in the normal course of operation of the Alameda Free
Library, certain books, publications, and other lending materials
become damaged, obsolete and otherwise unusable for library
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the determination that such materials are surplus to
the needs of the library can be best and most effectively
determined by the Library Director.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA that the Library Director is hereby authorized to order the
sale or other disposition of all obsolete and damaged books,
publications and surplus lending materials in accordance with the
procedures developed by the Library Director and approved by the
Library Board.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of
November , 1990, by the following vote to wit:
