APPROVING PROPOSED NEGATIVE DECLARATION IS-90-13
PERTAINING TO PROPOSED GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT GPA-90-1
TO ADOPT A HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE CITY GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Alameda has
considered a Proposed Negative Declaration for General Plan
Amendment GPA-90-1, the revision and updating of the Housing
Element of the City of Alameda General Plan; and
WHEREAS, after holding a public hearing on the Proposed
Negative Declaration on August 30, 1990, circulating it for public
comment between the dates of September 28, 1990 and October 29,
1990, and submitting it to the State Clearinghouse, for comment by
State agencies (State Clearinghouse No 90030830), said Board
determined that the Proposed Negative Declaration correctly
reflects the lack of significant environmental impact which would

result from adoption of the revised General Plan Housing Element,

and at its October 30, 1990 meeting voted to accept the Proposed
Negative Declaration as adequate for General Plan Amendment GPA-
90-1;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Alameda that said Council hereby approved Proposed Negative
Declaration IS-90-13 for General Plan Amendment GPA-90-1.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of
December, 1990, by the following vote to wit:

President Corica - 4.
Councilmember Thomas - 1.
ABSENT: None.
