APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 6041 (2057 AND 2059 ALAMEDA
AVENUE) AND GRANTING AN EXCEPTION FROM SECTION 11- 3118.1
OF THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE REQUIRING UNDERGROUNDING OF
UTILITIES, AND APPROVING INITIAL STUDY IS- 90 -12.
WHEREAS, the owner and subdivider herein, has presented
to the City Council for approval of Parcel Map 6041 to subdivide
a division of property located at 2057 and 2059 Alameda Avenue; and
WHEREAS, Parcel Map 6041, was approved with conditions
by the City of Alameda Planning Board on January 14, 1991, by
Resolution No. 2140; and
WHEREAS, Parcel Map 6041 was found to be in conformance
with the City's Combined Land Use Plan (CLUP), and it has been
determined that there would be no significant environmental impact
from the proposed subdivision; and
WHEREAS, Initial Study, IS -90 -12 for the property located
at 2057 and 2059 Alameda Avenue was recommended for approval by the
City of Alameda Planning Board on January 14, 1991, by Resolution
No. 2141; and
WHEREAS, the subdivider has requested an exception from
Subdivision Ordinance Section 11- 3118.1, which requires that all
utilities be placed undergound, and the Engineering Department has
reviewed this request and finds it agreeable; and
WHEREAS, the subdivider has posted a bond in the amount
of $2,600.00, guaranteeing the requirement of the Engineer's Report
and that a mylar copy of the Recorder Parcel Map be provided to the
City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda, by resolution, approve Parcel Map 6041, subject to the
conditions contained in Planning Board Resolution No. 2140, and
Initial Study IS- 90 -12, subject to the conditions listed in
Planning Board Resolution No. 2141.
