ESTABLISHING APPROPRIATIONS LIMITS FOR
FISCAL YEAR 1990-91 AND 1991-92
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article XIIIB of the Constitution
of the State of California, the City Council of the City of Alameda
is required to establish an "Appropriations Limit" for fiscal year
1990-91 and 1991-92; and
WHEREAS, the Appropriations Limit has been determined in
accordance with uniform guidelines for Article XIIIB of the
California Constitution.
WHEREAS, the voters approved Proposition 111 in June,
1990, which allows for new adjustment formulas for the
appropriations limit calculation that is responsive to local growth
issues.
041 2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
.crof Alameda that said Council hereby establishes the Appropriation
ti) Limit in the amount of $34,229,055 for fiscal year 1990-91 and
'tj$36,854,542 for fiscal year 1991-92.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the eighteenth of
June, 1991, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Lucas, Roth
and President Withrow - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
