Resolution 12123CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 12123 ESTABLISHING FIRE DEPARTMENT EMERGENCY AMBULANCE TRANSPORT FEES WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda established a Basic Life Support Emergency Ambulance Transport Program on November 15, 1983 by Resolution NO. 10408, and WHEREAS, additional funding is necessary to pay for replacement ambulances, and existing revenues are insufficient; and WHEREAS, personnel expenses to provide the ambulance service have risen; and providers; WHEREAS, existing rates are less than those of private NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the following schedule of fees and allowable charges are hereby adopted as those to be charged for Alameda Fire Department Emergency Ambulance Transport: ALAMEDA FIRE DEPARTMENT AMBULANCE FEES Basic $220.00 Special Handling (Indicates need for a separate engine or truck crew for more than 10 minutes for extrication, a heavy patient, or patient assistance without transport) 40.00 Milage - per mile 7.00 Oxygen 32.00 Night 30.00 Equipment (Disposable equipment charges range from $5.00 to $40.00) BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Ambulance Transport fees are hereby subject to administrative adjustments for not greater than 5% annually over the recommended recovery levels. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all fees established by Resolution which are inconsistent with the fees established by this Resolution are hereby repealed. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in special meeting assembled on the twenty-fifth day of June, 1991, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Lucas, Roth and President Withrow - 4.
