APPOINTING THE PERSONS NOMINATED AS TRUSTEES OF
BAY FARM ISLAND RECLAMATION DISTRICT NO. 2105
WHEREAS, pursuant to law the Secretary of the Board of
Trustees of Bay Farm Island Reclamation District No. 2105, at least
seven days prior to the final date for receiving petitions, duly
published notice that nominating petitions for the office of
Trustee would be received not later than 5 p.m. on September 12,
1991; and
WHEREAS, only four petitions for the offices of Trustee
were filed by said time and date; and
WHEREAS, the number of Trustees to be elected at said
O election is four and the number of nominees does not exceed the
LL >. number of Trustees to be elected; and

WHEREAS, no petition requesting that the election be held
'O was presented to the Board of Trustees of said District; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to law, the Secretary to the Board of
Trustees of Bay Farm Island Reclamation District No. 2105 published
notice that, because the number of nomination petitions received
did not exceed the number of offices to be filled; no election
would be held and that the Trustees would be appointed by the City
Council of the City of Alameda;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda as follows:
Pursuant to Section 50741 of the Water Code, the persons
duly nominated for the positions of Trustee, Raymond P. Kranelly,
M. Kent Hockabout, Michael J. Farley, and Bruce G. Sergent are
hereby appointed to the offices to Trustee of Bay Farm Island
Reclamation District No. 2105 for terms of four years, four years,
four years, and two years, respectively, commencing November 5,
1991.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the fifth of
November, 1991, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Lucas, Roth and
President Withrow - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Camicia - 1.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
