APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
INTERCONNECTION AGREEMENT BETWEEN
NORTHERN CALIFORNIA POWER AGENCY AND
PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Bureau of Electricity of the City of Alameda is
a member of the Northern California Power Agency (NCPA) which
agency has undertaken the development and acquisition of various
power supply resources for its members; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting on October 21, 1991, the Public
Utilities Board of the City of Alameda adopted a resolution
approving and authorizing execution of the NCPA and Pacific Gas and
0 Electric Company (PG &E) amended Interconnection Agreement to

provide similar services but with clarification and greater

specificity; and
WHEREAS, since the amended Interconnection Agreement
represents a power supply contract of more than ten years'
duration, the Charter requires approval of the Board's action by
the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA, that said Council hereby approves the amended
Interconnection Agreement between NCPA and PG &E and authorizes the
president of the Public Utilities Board to execute said agreement.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the fifth of
November, 1991, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Lucas, Roth
and President Withrow - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
