AWARDING CONTRACT TO E & D SYSTEMS, INC. FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF THE MAIN STREET BIKE PATH
NO. P.W. 12-90-18
WHEREAS, on November 5, 1991 the City Council of the City
of Alameda adopted the plans and specifications and called for bids
for the Main Street Bike Path, No. P.W. 12-90-18; and
WHEREAS, in response to the call for bids, a sealed bid
was submitted by E & D Systems, Inc. agreeing to perform said work
in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $46,732.50;
and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received; and

WHEREAS, funding for the design and construction of the
project will be provided from Transportation Development Act (TDA)
- 0
Article 3, Fiscal Year 1989-90 (City of Alameda CIP #89-4); <
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of E & D Systems, Inc. is hereby accepted,
and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk
to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda. TI c

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the third of
December, 1991, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Lucas, Roth
and President Withrow - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
