APPOINTING REBECCA A. KOZAK AS A MEMBER OF
THE BAY AREA LIBRARY AND
INFORMATION SYSTEM LAY ADVISORY BOARD
BE IT. RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that pursuant to
the requirements of the California Library Services Act of 1977, and upon
nomination of the Library Board of the City of Alameda, Rebecca A. Kozak is
hereby appointed member to the Bay Area Library and Information System
(BALIS) Lay Advisory Board for a two year term commencing September 1,
2006.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in the Regular Meeting of the City
Council on the 5th day of September 2006, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, deHaan, Gilmore, Matarrese and Mayor
Johnson - 5.
