RECLASSIFYING THE PROPERTY SITUATED ON THE
NORTHWEST CORNER OF PAGE STREET AND CENTRAL
AVENUE, TO A CLASS IT, RESIDENCE DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the City C1er17 as required by the provisions
of Ordinance No. 144, New Series, Ordinance No. 149, New Series, Ordinance ro. 191, New
Series, and amendments thereto, requesting that the property situated on the Northwest
corner of Page Street and Central Avenue be changed and reclassified from a Class I,
Residence District, to a Class II, Residence District, which petition was signed by
the required percentage of owners of real property situated within a radius of six
hundred feet of the said property;
AND 'NHEREAS, notices were posted by the city clerk and a tearing provided
for and duly held before the city council in time, form and manner as required by law,
and the city council having duly considered said proposed change and reclassification;
now therefore
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda that the p ra-
ises above described be, and the same are hereby permitted, to be reclassified in ac-
cordance with the petition above referred to.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda, in regular
meeting assembled, on the 20th day of February, 1923, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Adams, Latham, Probst, Tilden and President utis, 5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
