RESOLUTION OF AWALD,
WEEEP,AS, the Councill of the City of Alameda in open session, on the.
20th day of March, 1923, publicly open, examine, and declare all sealed proposals
or bids for the construction of the proposed Alameda Health Center building to be
erected on the south sidu of Santa Clara Avenue between Cak and Walnut Streets in
said city, ir . accordance with the plans and specifications adopted therefor,
R25CJZVJfl that the Council hereby rejects zil of said proposals or bads
for general work in tie construction of said building except that of the bidder next
herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said general work in the
construction of said building to McIntosh Bros. for the sum of Nineteen Thousand
Three Hundred Forty Eight and no/100 Dollars (19,348.00).
The mayor and ex-officio presidert of the council is hereby empowered and
directed for and on behalf of the City of Alameda to enter into and sign a contract
with said McIntosh 3ros. for doing the general work in the construction of said hand-
1 , for the amount aforestated, said work to be on in accordance with the plans and
spec ificions adopted therefor and the proposal or bid of said McIntosh Bros., on file
with the city clerk.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced. and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned
regular meeting assembled on the 27th day of March, 1923, by the following vote, to wit:
YES; Councilman Adams, Latham, Probst, Tilden and President Otis, (5).
