to order the closing and abandoning of the following . alleys in ca id city, to wit:
The alleys in Illeeke. 01 and 52, RS shown and delineated. upon that certain
mao entitled. "Map of Western. Portion of Town. of Ereinal made for Methewoon arid Uuerstel,
Alameda, Cal., Zept. 23, 1254, Horace A. HIgley, Cc, 0r,, Seoorde.d. Book C, page
in. the office of the Conmty Necorder of Alameda County;
Also the alleys in Blocks. 35 to 44, inclusivo, and 49 to 50, inclusive, and
Flocks 53, 34 and 3.5, as shosm and delineated on the map entitled "Map cf Town
cinal and. the Lands Adjacent, surveyed by Herres A- Higley, Ckunty Surveyer, assisted
by J. T. Stratton, filed. August 7, 1354, Beek du page 2", in. the office of the. County
Necorder of Alameda County;
Also the alleys in Blocks 90, 91, 92, 93, 99, 100, 101, 102, 105, 109, 110
and lid, as shown and delineated on the map entitled "liosp of the Ti of Alameda and
adjacent lards", flied in the office of the Recorder of Alameda County in Book 5, rage.

PiESOLTZD that no lend is deemed necessary to be taken for the work o-' closing
and abandoning said alle7e and that the exterior. boundaries of the district of and
affected and to pay for the damages, coste and expenses, thereof are the corporat0 .. bound-
aries of the City of Alameda.
The etreet superintendent ehall cause notices of this resolution tc to posted
according to law and a cop, . of said notioas to le published. in the "Alameda Times Eter",
a. daily newspater of goneral circulation published and cirouleted is said city and hereby.
designated by the city council for that purpose.
Any. person trterested, o5jecting to tte closing of said alleys or te the extent
of the district of lands to be affected or 'benefited thereby. and to pay the expenses.
thereof, way make written objections to the. $0-"e in tte time, form and T'in' er provided
by law.
The proceedings for closing. and abandoning said alleys. shall be taken under
and in. pursuance of the act of the legislature. approved March 0, 1889 and the. suesequent
amendments thereto.
