RESOLUTION aUDERIEG TEE WORK (Crossings st Bay Island Ave. with Bark Ave. and Regent St.) RE5O11SD, that whereas the council of the City. of Alameda did on the 5th day of June, 1923, pass its Resolution. of Intention No. 64, N. S. to order the hereinafter described work to be or and improvement to be made in said city, which Resolution of Intention OrtiF duly and legally published as required. by law, as appears from the affidavit of E. Z. Crane now on file in the office of the city clerk el said city; and whereas, notices of the passage cf said Resolution of Intention re. GA, N. 0.. headed "Notice of Improvement" were duly and legally posted along the line of said contemplated work and improvement and in front of all the property liable to be assessed therefor, and on each and every street and highway in the assessment din- trio t described in said Resolution cf Intention, in td me, form, manner and number as required ly law, after the passage of said Reselstion cf Intention, as. appears from the affidavit of I. C. Nelson, who personally posted the SRMe, and who, upon the completion of the posting of said notices, forthwith filed said affidavit in the office of the city clerk, making oath tro t he completed the posting of said notices on the 9th day of June, 1923; and said council having now acquired . juris- diction to order tho proposed improvement, it is hereby 7E0OLV9D, that the public intorest and convenience require the work herein deseribed and the council of the City of Alameda hereby orders the following work to be done and improvement to be made in said city, to-wits hat. the crossing of Day Island Avenue and Perk Avenue, also the crossing of Day Ialand Avenue and Regent Street, be improved by grading and constructing thereon concrete curt s, gutters, sidewalks, corrugated iron culverts, and an oil macadam pavement. All of said work shall be one in accordance with the plans and specifications adopted therefer and now on file in the office of the street superintendent. All of the hereinalove work and improvement shall be done in pur- suance of an rot of the Legislature of the State of California, desig- nated the "Improvement At of 1911", approved. April 7, 1911, and amend- ments thereto. The city clerk is hereby' instructed to post R notice of said work, . together with the plans and specifications therefor, consricsously for five days on. or near the council chamber door, inviting sealed proposals or bids fo:c doing the work ordered, He is also directed_ to publish twice e note inviting such proposals, and referring to the specifications nested or en file, in the Alameda Times ',tar, a newspaper published and oirculated in said 0 ity and hereby designated fch that purpose.
