FIXING SALARIES OF THE FCLIOWING OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA,
TO WIT: THE DEPUTY AUDITOR, DEPUTY ASSESSOR, ASSISTANT DEPUTY ASeESSOR, STENO-
GRAPHER TO AUDITOR AND ASSESSOR, BUILDING INSPECTOR, ASSISTANT BUILDING INSPECT-
0?, CITY ATTORNEY, STENOGRAPHER TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, CITY CLERY, STENOGRAPHER TO
THE CITY CIERY, CUSTODIAN OF SHE CITY HALL, CITY MANAGER, SECRETARY TO THE CITY
MANAGER, STENOGRAPHER TO THE CITY MANAGER, STENOGRAPHER TO THE CITY COUNCIL,

COLLECTOR.
RESOLVED, that the salaries of the following officers and employees of the City
of Alameda he and they are hereby fixed. as follows:-
The Deputy Auditor shall receive One hundred and Ninety and 00/10 (190.00)
Dollars per month;
The Deputy Assessor shall reoeive One hundred. and Seventy-five and 00/100 (175.00)
Dollars per month;
The Assistant Deputy Assessor shall receive One hundred and fifty-five and 00/100
(155.00) Dollars per month;
The Stenographer tc the Auditer and. Assessor shall receive Ninety-five and 00/1 00
(95.00) Dollars per month.
The Building Impactor shall receive One hundred and Twenty and 00/100 (120.00)
Dollars per month;
The Assistant Building Inspector hall receive Seventy-five and 00/100 (75.00)
Dollars per month;
The City Attorney shall receive Two hundred and. Fifteen and 001100(0215.00) per
month;
The Stenographer to the City Attorney shall receive One Hundred end Thirty-five

The Head Gardener of Recreation and Parks shall receive One hundred and Fifty

The Gardeners of the Recreation Department shall receive One hundred and Thirty
and 00/100 (130.00) Dollars per month;
The Play Directors shall receive Seventy-five and 00/100 (75.00) Dollars per
month;
The Superintendent of Streets and City Engineer shall receive Three hundred
And Fifteen and 00/100 (315.00) Dollars per month;
The Clerk of the Street Department shall receive One hundred and Ten and 00/100
Dollars per month;
The Assistant City Engineer shall receive Two hundred and Fifteen and 00/100
(215.00) Dollars per month;
The Foreman of the Street Department shall receive One hundred and Eighty and
00/100 (180.00) Dollars per month;
The Deputy Treasurer and Tax Collector shall receive one Hundred and Ninety
and 00/100 (190.00) Dollars per month;
RESOLVED, that the salaries hereinabove enumerated shall be paid in arrears
for each calendar month.
RESOLVED, that this resolution shall take effect and be operative November 1,
1923.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing :Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meet-
ing assembled on the 18th day of September, 1923, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Adams, Latham, Probst and Tilden, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT Council-president Otis, (1).
