and the Mayor and city clerk are hereby authorized and directed, for and on behalf
of the aity, to enter into a contract with said bidder for the construction of said
retaining wall;

to them.
the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 15th day of October, 1923, by the following vote, to wit;
