TO SUBMIT CERTAIN CHARTER AKELDMENTS.
LBETZ,AS, the Councli cf the City of Alameda did, on the 51h day of February,
1724, pass a resolution for submitting proposals Tem amendibg U(ection 1 of Chapter 1,
and (Hection 10 of Chapter II, of Article IV of the city charter, said proposed assasdmente
tc be submitted at the special election to be hold in the city on Tuesday, tarc h 11, 1924,
and
WHEP21., it appeara that under ection 8, Article XI, of the state cont sittion,
"such proposals Shall be submitted tc the electors only during the six mantas next pre-
ceding a regular session of the legislature or thereafter and before the final ad,iourn-
mant of that session.", now therefore, it is hereby
