DECLARING NO APTEALS FROM THE ACT OF THE STREET
SUPERINTENDENT IN a-MOVING EEDS.
WHEREAS, between the first and fifteenth days of July, 1924, the street
superintendent caused to be published a notice to the effect that any person affected
or aggrieved ty any act or determination of the street superintendent or city council
relative to the removal of weeds, etc., during the preceding fiscal year might, at
any time prior to the first day of August, 1924, appeal to the city council,
AND WHEREAS, notice of the right to appeal was published for five days
in the "Alameda Times Star", a newspaper published and circulated in the City. of
Alameda, as required by the provisions of section 462 of the Municipal Code,
AND WHEREAS, no such appeal has been made in writing and filed with the
city clerk as provided by the provisions of said section, now therefore
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that all acts of the street superintendent aad
city council relative to the removal of weeds for the fiscal year ending June
30, 1924, be, and the same are hereby ratified, approved and confirmed, and the
street superintendent shall deliver to the auditor and assessor an abstract of
the entries in the record book, as provided by the provisions of section 463 of
the Municipal Code.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 5th day of Auguet, 1924, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Latham, Neiss, Drobst, Tilden and President Otis, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
