RESOLUTION CANCELLING TAXES.
WHEREAS, the thirteen parcels of property hereinafter referred to were
recently acquired for school purposes by the Alameda High School District, and
WHEREAS, said property was recently sold to the City of Alameda for
delinquent taxes and penalties amounting in the aggregate to the total sum of
your Hundred Forty-seven and 62/100 Dollars (e447.62), and
WHEREAS, in response to request of the Board of Education, the council
has decided to remit the payuent of said taxes and penalties, and thereby appro-
priate said sum for the benefit of the high school district, now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the council of the City of Alameda, that the taxes due on
said property as follows:

are hereby instructed to make the proper notations on their respective books.
7, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in reg-ular
meeting assembled cn the 16th day of September, 1924, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Latham, Probst, Tilden, Neiss and President Otis, (5).
