Resolution 00804RESOLUTION NO, 804. RESOLUTION 01' INTENTION NO. 72-B. New Series. (Stanford Street). RESOLVED, that it is the intention of the city council of the City of Alameda to order the following work to be done and improvement to be made in said city, to-wit: That the westerly half of Stanford Street from the northerly line of Buena Vista Avenue to a line 147.5 feet northerly and parallel therefrom, be improved by grading, constructing concrete curbs, Ruttere, and paving the roadway with six (6) inch oiled macadam pavement. All of said work shall be done in accordance with the plans and specifications adopted therefor and now on file in the office of the city clerk. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, the 7th day of October, 1924, at 8 o'clock p. m., at the citthall, in the council chamber of said city, any and all owners of pronerty liable to be assessed for the work, who make written protests against the proposed work and deliver the same to the clerk of the council, may appear before said council and show cause why said propose d improvement should not be carried out in accordance with this resolution. The city clerk shall cause this resolution of intention to be published twice in the "Alameda Ties-Star," a daily newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in said city and hereby designated for that purpose by saia city council. The street superintendent shall cause to be conspicuously posted along the line of said contemplated work and improvement and in front of all the property liable to be assessed, notices of the passage of this resolution of intention in the time form and manner required by law. The herein proposed work and improvement shall be done in pursuance of an act of the Legislature of the State of California entitled the "Improvement Act of 1911", approved April 13, 1911, and amendments thereto. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th day of September , 1e24, by the following vote, to alt: AYES: Councilmen Latham, Neiss, Probst, Tilden and President Otis, (5).
