DECLARING PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE ACQUISITION OF A LOT ADJOIN- ING THE MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHT PLANT ON PARK STREBT, AND ANT HORI z riG THE MAYOR TO SUBSCRIBE TO A COMPLAINT IN CONDEMNA- TION PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF SAID LOT. RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that said Council has found and determined, and hereby finds and determines, that the public interest and necessity require the acquisition by said City of Alameda, for use of its municipal electric light plant, e public utility owned and orcrated by said city, all that certain lot, piece cr parcel of land situate, lying and being in said City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, and more particularly described as follows, to-wit: OoumcJ cine at the intersection of the northerly line cf Bay Island Ave'„ with the easterly line of Park St,, as the same now exist and run- ning thence northerly along said easterly line of Park St., 15.05 ft., to the northerly line of lot D, in Block 29, (map hereinafter referred. to) thence easterly along the northerly line of said Lot D, 149.42 ft. to a point; thence southerly along the easterly line of said Lot D 32.02 ft., to a point on the northerly line of Bay Island Ave., thence westerly along said northerly line of Bay Inland Ave„ 150.30 ft., to the easterly line of Park St., and the point of commencement. Being a portion of Lot D in Block 29, as said lot and block ere de- lineated and so designated upon that certain map entitled "Alameda Park Homestead" and filed May 30, 1874, in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda County, California, in Book 17 of Maps, Page 32. RESOLVED FURTHER, that the mayor be, and he is hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of said. city and its City Council, to subscribe to a complaint in con- demnation proceedings for the acquisition of said lot, piece or parcel of land for use as an addition to the municipal light plant of said city., I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda at a regular meeting thereof held Tuesday evening, December 16, 1924, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall in said city, by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Councilmen Latham, Nelos, Probst and President Otis, (4). NOES: None, ABSENT: Councilman Tilden, (1). IN TESTIMONY WTEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official seal of said City of Alameda the lOth day of December, 1924. E.
