RE.RECIASSIFICATION OF PORTION OF WEBSTER STRET.
WHEREAS, the Council has been requested to change and reclassify all
the property fronting on Webster Street, between Central Avenue and the Segregation
line, from a Residential District to a Business District Class V,
AND WHEREAS., under section 9 Of Ordinance No. 227, N. S., the council is
empowered to make such changes or reolassifications on its own initiative, provided
notice and hearing is first had as provided for in said ordinance, now therefore,
be it
R2SOLV2D, as the sense of the Council that said property should be changed
and reclassified as aforestated, and the city clerk is hereby notified to post no-
tices and provide for a hearing before the City Planning Commission in the time,
form and manner required by said ordinance.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution 78S
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled an the 3rd day of March, 1925, by the following vote,
towit:
AYES: Councilmen Latham, Neiss, Probst and President Otis, (4).
NOES: None.
ASSENT: Councilman Tilden, (1).
