AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
COUNTY OT ALAMEDA RELATIVE TO THE CONSTRUCTION AND
MAINTENANCE OF THREE FIBRE CONDUITS IN THE VEHICULAR
TUBE OR SUBWAY CONNECTING TUE CITY OF OAKLAND WITH
3110 CITY OF ALAMEDA.
HEREAS, the City of Alameda has applied to the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Alameda for permission to construct and maintain three fibre conduits
ill the vehicular tube or subway under construction In the estuary between the City
of Oalfland and the City of Alameda,
AND 'WHEREAS, the Hoard of Supervisors of said county has submitted a form of
agreement whereby said county proposes to give and grant to the City of Alameda a
license or permit revokable et the will of said board conditional that said license
shall not bind or obligate the County of Alameda to purchase or 1256 electric current
furnished or distributed by the City of Alameda, or any other purveyor or distributor
of electric current, or limit the right of said county to purchase electric current
for the operation or maintenance of said subway from any or all other purveyors and
distributors of electric current, now therefore it is hereby
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda that tha form of said
agreement aa submitted by said Board of Supervisors be and the same le hereby
approved, and the Mayor is hereby authorized and empowered to execute the same
for and on behalf of said city.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Councl l. of the City of Alameda
in adjourned. regular meeting assembled ou the llth day of August, 1925, by the
