CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT ON A' AL
WHEREAS, the Council of the City af Alameda did heretofore pass its
Resolution No. 74, New Series, Tor the improvement of 'Bay Island Avenue be-
treen Regent and Pearl Streets, ander and pursuant to the provisions of the
improvement Act of 1911, and whereas the contractor for said 'work has ful
filled his contract to the satisfaction of the street superintendent and city
engineer, and an assessment has been made to cover the work performed and
specified in said contract and a ddsgram attached in achordance with law,
AND WHEREAS, said assessment vs Tiled with the city clerk and
ot doe thereof printed, published. and mailed in the time, form and manner
regal:red ty law, fixing Tuesday, the 18th day ef August, 1925, in the Council
Chamber of said City Council at the hour of 8 o'clock p. m., a5 the time and
place far hearing the owners, contractor, assigns, or any other person in-
terested in said or feeling aggrieved by any action or determination of the
street superintendent, city engineer, or contractor, having or making any
objection to the assessment, diagram, or other act of the officials or con-
tractor in relation thereto,
AND WHEREAS, no objection of any kind. to said assessment, diagram
or other at or proceeding of the street superintendent, city engineer or
contractor under the provisions Of Sectlon 21 of said act has been filed
with the city clerk, and no claim has been made that the work has not been
performed according to the contract, and no appeal whatever has been taken
to the City Council, and the it Chunoil being satisfled of the ectrectness
of said assessment, the OEMO is hereby approved and confirmed, and the Street
Ouperiitendent is hereby ordered to attach his warrant thereto as provided
ty law.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was July and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on thb 18th day of August, 1.025,
by the followlng vote, to wit:
