WHEREAZ, in the opinion of the council of the city of Alameda., public interest
and Convenience despond the hofchase of 55.'39 acres of lrands for municipal Issas on :790.y
?arm Islhhdf also a lease for municipal uses df 122.88 acres of other Rands traereon with
an option to puchase during the life of said lease or any renewals thereof, now therefore

RESOLVED, that the' City of Alameda purchase outright, as of September 15, 1925,
said 55.93 . anres of lands as described in the deed prepared thereof, a copy of which is
annexed hereto and made a part hereof, and. be it further
RESOLVED, that the city takp a lease of 122.85 acres of lands as described in
the 1 prepared thfrefor, 3 copy of whinh is annexed hereto and made a. part hereof,
at the annual rental of Thirty-six Dollmrs (36.0E) per acre, with the option of pier
chasing said lfnds durimg the life of said lease or amy renewals thfreof for the Sum
of Eight Afeadred and ?ive Dollars (805.00) per acre,
RREOLVED FURTHER, that the purchase of the 55.98 acres aforementioned, and
the leash of the 122.55 acres last mentioned, bh conditional upon the city being able
to secure a. clear title thereto, free of all encumbrances, certified by a responsiblf
title company ff Alameda Goonty ollorang that all imixfs reclomation assessments and
other liens and assessments have been folly paid 3' to the tiew said. dead and lease
are executed and. delivered, and that neither the purchnhe price for lends purchased
or any rfhtal for lands leamhd shall be paid until such certifacate of title has been
receiw1 d. and approved by the city attorney.
