TIRING TIME' FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO.
REPORT OF SOPUISSIOBERS.
WHGRSAS, the soebsil of the city of Alameda did, on the 5th day of
Mny', 1925, pass its Resolution cf Intention Nt. 75, 8. 2., to order the opening
and extending of Eagle avenue in said city, under the provisions of an act of
the legislature entitled, "An act to artvide for the laying out, openirg, ex-
tendlag, widen, , straightening, or 7)103 -1 Gp in vhtle or in part, any street,
square, lann, alley, sourt or place within municipalities, and to condemn and
acquire any and all land and property necessary or convenient for that purpose,'
approved March e, 1659, and smendments thereto;
AGM 'WHEREAS, notices of said sonttmplated work and improvement were
thereupon sonspisuously posted along the line of said proposed street, and u

AND WHEREAS, the counail acquired jurisdiction. to ordbr the work and
appointed three oommissiontrs to assess the benefits and damages anA have gentral
supervision of the proposed work and iteprovement, which commissioners duly quali-
fied as required by laW;
AND WHEREAS, said. commissioners madk their assbssmbnts of bbnefits
damapms and. with all diligence made and filed. a. written. rbbort thereof in the
clarkts office of the city council, stmrekipon notice of such filing requiring
all persons interested to dhow cause, 1f any, why such retort should not be con-
firmed, before the city couthil, on or before SeytemlJer 21, 1925, was duly an15 .
remnEoirly published in timm, form and manner as required by las, whereupon certain
persons filed written objections to said report with the clerk which have bmen

RESOLVED, loy the Council.. of the City of Alameda that Tuesday, the 6th

said objectiona, and the city clerk is herbby instructed to immbdiabely notify the
