CITY 02 ALANEDA.
WHEREAS, Nionada Lodge #101.0 B. F. Ot EL, recently appointed a comnittee
of fifteen members to assist in. securing a building for the ex-service men of the
City Of Alameda,
AND WHEREAS, it ataccats that said committee has received assurance from
the County Socrd of Datervisore ttot said board d's williDg to appropriate the sum
of Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($75k0C13,00' for the construition of such a build-
ing in the City of Alameda, puyeuant to the provisions of Chapter 348 of the Statutes
of 1921, on. the condUtion tha4 the oity providt a soitable site for said. builiding,
nbuf therefore, it is hereby
REEOLVME2 that the Council of the City of Alameda appoint a committee of
sevon to inycetigate the proposition, inanading the policy of scouring such a build-
iyhf, a suitabie site therefoy and plans for Its mtnagtment cud control, said committee
to duettist of three (51 representatives of the Alameda. Veterans Council, two (2) members
of the city counbil and. two (2) cif/sans at large. Said. committee is requested to meet
at its earliest convenience otter appointment and. proceed with all possible dispatch to
investigate the matttr herein. referred to or0. report its recommendations back to thie
couy1 .1 without delay.
