between 7he 'reatern Tacific liallroad Company and The Atchison, Topeka and Santa
,lompany on the one hand, and the City of Alameda on the other hand,
which said ligreement Is substantially BEt forth 'I'D Ordinance No. 259, New Series,
of the City 3f Alameda, it will be neoessary for the City to convey to Alameda
3elt Line, a California corporation organized a provided in said Agreement, the
City's existing railroad, upon receiving the written acceptance of sail 13reement
by sold Ilameda idelt Line, nnd upon the payment by sEld Alameda 'deli Line of the
purchase price fixed by 5E13 Agreement, viz: the sum of 7hIrty Thousand Dollars

head and representative, be and he is herehy authorized and directed, subject always
to such norreptance of said Agreement by said Alameda Belt Line, and the payment of
said parahase price to the City Treasurer for the City, to execute in the name of
End on behalf of the City, said conveyance, and to deliver the same, arid the City
Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest the same, said coneyanhe to re-
cite that it is executed apd delivered in pursuance of and subject to the terms
of said Agreement.
