THE ACQUISITION OF A BLOCK FOR SCHOOL HURPOSES.
REEDIVED by the Council of the City of Alsmkda, and said Council hereby
finids and. determinhs that the public interest and necessity reouire the acquisition
by said City of Alameda for us F by said city for school purposes all of that certaih
blook of land situate, lying and being in said City of Alacmdo, County of Alameda,
Etate of California, and more particularly described as followsi
All that certain piece or block of lard toundmd on the north by
Baena Vista Avenum, an tha at by Versailles Avehue, ch the south by
Lincoln ANenum, and on the west by :earl Street, being Rlock Seven (7)
of the Hays A Caperton Property, according to Inc map of said property
on file in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda Coanty.
RESOLVED TURTMEE, that the City Attorney be and he is hereby directed to
C:OMMellVi coadhcoation proceedings in eminent domain for the acadisition of said block
of land, and that the Mayor te and he is herely instructed aod directed, for and on
behalf of sand oity and to City Council, to subscribe to a complaint ill the Superior
Court of said. Alameda, County for the condemnation of said block of land for school
purposes.
