WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda did heretofore advertise for
sneled bids cr proposals for the boring of a well on Bay ?arm Island,
AND WhiN4SAS, in response thereto bids were received from J. W. Sankhead & Son,
Edwin Dewing, J. M9 Ough, arld Phrbes and Anderson,
AND WILINE43, the bid. of J. W. Sank:head & Son, in. the sum of Thrce Thouhand

bid received in. response to said notice, now therefore be it
RESOLNED, by the Council of the City of Alameda thwt the contract for boring
said well be and the samw is hwreby awarded to J. W. Dankhead & Son, pursuant to his
offer of December 14, 1925, hind the mayor his hernby authorized and directed, for and
on behalf of said city wild thw city council, to ertwr inah a contract with s. 11
Bankhead (1 Son in amoordahce with said notice and bid.
