AUTHORIZING THE ICAYOR TO "dIGN. AN MENDED
AGREEPIENT.IN RE- PUBLIC HIGHWAYS CN BAY
FARM ISLAND.
WHEREAS, the Council heretofore authorized the execution of an agreement
with the By ?arm Island Reclamation District whereby the City of Alameda was granted
an -easement and right of way for use and maintenance as public highways on and over the
south levee of Unit N. 1 of Bay ?arm Island Reclamation District, and also on and over
the north laves of Unit No. 1 of said district,
AND WHEREAS, the officials cf the reclamation district have requested the city
to eliminate any reference to the north levee and confine the agreement to the south levee

only, now therefore, it is hereby
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda that the agreement retofore
made under date of January 8, 1926, with reference to both levees be, and them same is
hereby cancslled, and the mayor is hereby authorized to enter into and execute an agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Alameda with relation to the south levee only.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda- in regular
meeting assembled on the 19th day of January, 1926, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Latham, Neiss, Noble, Travers and President Otis, (5).
NOES: None.
ABST: None.
