S., said raisance being. in the form of a Chinese lottery, AND WhEREAS, It appeare that the chinf of police found. that such a lottery was bedng conducted in said building on November 25, 1925, and forthwith notified. F. A. MoCann, the owner thereof, and ordered him to abate said nuisance immediately, as provind. by the terms of Section 2 of said ordinance, AND WHIEEAS, on March 20, 1926, it was found that a Chinese lottery. was again beina conducted. in said building and that said. nuisance haa not been suppressed and kept effectually suppressed for a peaiod of ohe yebr next after the service of said notice, AND WHEPEAS, said. P. A. McCann, the owner of said building, was notified to apnear and. did appeaa before the city council at its >8 11 meeting hEaa in the council chamber of the city hall of said city' Tuesday evening, April.. 20, 1926, at 8 o'clock p.
