CANOEILING TAKES ON IB:OPEATE ACQUIRED BY THE OITA-
EHEREAS, the real property situated on the northeast corner of Walnut
Street and Central ANQIIIIG having 110 feet an Central Avenue and 157i feet on bhlnut
Street is about to be acquired by the city for the purpose of constructing and main
taining thereon a veterans' memorial building,
AND WhENEAS, said pruperty has been assessed aria taxes have been levied
thereon for the fiscal year of 1926-1927 in the sum of One Hundred Thirty-fomr and
42/10C Dollars 0134.40!, now therefore it is hereby
REEMIXED, by the Council of the 'City et Alameda that, for the hurpcse of
clearing the records, said taxes for the fiscal year of 192E-1927 be, and the same
nre hereby cancelled and declared null and void.
AESOI7CD, that the Auditer and Treasurer be, and they are hereby instructed
to make the neceSsary changes on their respective boo'd.

and regularly introduced and adopted by the council of the city of Alameda in resniar
