STREET PURPOSES.
bdidEXA2, eublic interest and oonn5oce demands the acquisition of a certain
triangular piece of land on the norther y side of Bay Island Avenue descrihed os follows:
Commencing at a point on the west line of lot 8, in Block 29, 'said.
point being distant southerly thereon 42 ft„ -from the northwest corner
of Lot 3, as said lot and block are delineated and so designated upon that
certain map entitled "Alameda Park Homestead", filed May 30, 1874, in the
office of the County Recorder of Alameda County, California, in c.ok 17 of
Maps, Page 32, and rumntng thence easterly and parallel with the northerly
line of Lot B, 101 ft., to a wint on the northerly line cf Day Adenae;
thence N. 500 30° W., alon5 the northerly line of Bay Island Avenue, 101.49
ft., to a point on the westerly line of Lot 13; thence 9.98 ft., southerly
thereon to the point of oommeacemwnt;
ANT WftaREAS, the title of said triangular riece of lord is now vested in N. F.
Justice of 3232 Bay° Vista Avenue, this city, and said owner haa agreed to dedicate tho
same to the City of Alameda for the parose of straightening and atdering the northerly
side of said enom for the sum of One Hundred Eisbty and No/100 Dollar (4180.00), Which
sum the ooancil deems to be just and reasonab2e under toe circumstances and hereby so
find b, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the City of Alameda purchase tho said triangular piece of and
from shidN, F. Justice for the sum eforementionet, to-wit, One lIundred Eighty and No/100
Dollars (4150.00), the same to be payable. to said owner upon the delivery of a good and
safficient deed. therefor approved by the city attorney.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced. and edwated by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 5rd day of May, 1927, by the fallowing vote, to wit:
